Job Summary:

The Automation Lead is primarily responsible for working with the project teams and providing automation ideas and driving the team on the automation solutions. The automation Lead is expected to have application support knowledge, but not limited to the following.

1. Alert monitoring, perform health checks, trouble-shooting issues, perform escalation, managing bridge calls, perform root cause analysis and document knowledge articles.

2. Support web sites (application, middleware & infrastructure tiers) both within the organization and external at the hosting provider.

3. Good communication Skills to communicate with Customers across the Globe.

4. Having good Understanding of Incident, Change and Problem Management.

Role and Responsibilities:

8+ years overall IT experience with hands-on experience in any of the automation tools.

Administer Ansible/Ansible Tower infrastructure Configuration perform maintenance and implementation.

Strong knowledge of Python with good exposure of automation scripting

Suggesting architecture improvements recommending process improvements for service and process automations

Experience working in a Linux /AIX and Windows environment.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell Script, PowerShell, Terraform etc.

Experience in DevOps is desirable

Experience in cloud applications and platforms like AWS, Azure

Understanding of the application and web security controls, TCP/IP concepts, firewalls, and database preferred

Release experience highly desired

Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint, and understanding of ITIL concepts, Agile methodology and Cloud computing.

Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills including strong facilitation and coordination skills.

High level of initiative and ownership mentality

Education & Certifications: - N/A

14. 16 years of formal education is mandatory.

15. Certification in any of the automation tools preferably Ansible.

16. Certification in AWS or Azure, DevOps will be added plus.
